Warzone Weapon Tier List: Best Meta Guns For Season 4

Ashika Island or Al Mazrah, here is the ultimate WZ2 weapon tier list.

Warzone Character with AR Activision

Season 4 Reloaded brought another series of weapon buffs and nerfs into Warzone and MW2. As a result, we’ve shifted around our Warzone weapon tier list, giving you the best meta guns as we approach Season 5.

Warzone Season 4, which overhauled base health and introduced Vondel, was relatively light on weapon buffs and nerfs. Season 4 Reloaded, dropping on July 12, returned to the large amount of weapon tweaks we’ve come to expect.

The ISO 45 received a nerf, the KV Broadside received a buff and, across the board, the devs made changes to the damage profile of Warzone’s weapons. It means players will be punished for missing shots and rewarded for more accurate firing. It’s sure to keep things interesting as we approach Season 5.

Warzone Season 4 Weapon Tier List

The addition of the MX Guardian shotgun means there’s another weapon to keep track of in Warzone’s meta. With so many in the game, it’s no surprise players need help figuring out what to use and how to use them.

Firstly, we’ll walk you through our Warzone Season 4 Reloaded tier list, ranking every weapon based on its in-game performance and viability. After that, we’ll pick our favorite three weapons in the current meta.

We’re keeping the ISO 45 in A-Tier after its close-range damage was reduced in the S4R update. Its trajectory was phenomenal, but it’s no longer quite as lethal up close as it was.

The MX Guardian moves straight into B-Tier, where it’ll stay until more is known about how it performs in the BR.

We’ve also dropped the Vaznev-9K down to A-Tier. It could be a move we reverse soon, but another nerf has just tipped it below other SMGs, like the Lachmann Sub, in our opinion.

Our full Warzone weapon tier list is detailed below:

Warzone Best Weapons Right Now

Now the tier list has been detailed in full, we’re taking you through our three favorite guns in the entire BR. Again, these are subjective (and so are the attachment choices). Regardless, we’re sure there’ll be one that tickles your fancy.

M4

The M4 will be familiar to most CoD players. Its featured in a bunch of installments and does so again in Modern Warfare 2. Despite not really featuring in WZ2’s earliest seasons, it’s flown up the rankings across the last couple of seasons. Its fast fire-rate and ease of use means its among the very best ARs in Warzone. Use the following attachments to maximize its performance:

  • Optic: Aim OP-V4
  • Underbarrel: Lockgrip Precision-40
  • Barrel: Hightower 20″ Barrel
  • Magazine: 60 Round Mag
  • Stock: Tempus P80 Strike

HCR-56

If you prefer a slower playstyle, the HCR-56 is probably the best LMG in Warzone right now. It’s almost a bulkier AR, faster than most LMGs but still able to compete at medium and long ranges. If you’re set up and rocking the attachments below, your enemies won’t stand a chance:

  • Muzzle: Corvus Slash Gen. 2
  • Rear Grip: Bruen Q900 Grip
  • Underbarrel: Edge-47 Grip
  • Optic: VLK 4.0 Optic
  • Stock: Bruen STB 556 Stock

Lachmann Sub

With the ISO 45 and Vaznev-9K nerfed, the Lachmann Sub retains its status as our absolute favorite SMG in Warzone. It’s rapid rate of fire, high damage and snappy ADS make it unmatched at close ranges. With the attachments below, it’s even crazier:

  • Muzzle: XTEN RR-40
  • Magazine: 40 Round Mags
  • Laser: VLK LZR 7MW
  • Underbarrel: Lockgrip Precision-40
  • Rear Grip: Lachmann TCG-10
