Warzone’s DMZ mode is often a case of going to location X in order to acquire item Y. Sometimes it’s a little more complex and a key is required at some point. While we had the key chain locked down, it changed considerably with Season 4 Reloaded. Here’s how to get the Veterinarian Key for the Vondel Zoo Veterinary Office in Warzone DMZ.
How To Get Veterinarian Key in Warzone DMZ
The Veterinarian Key is acquirable in a few different ways in Warzone DMZ Season 4. Some are better than others, like using the key chain or a mission. We’re starting with the worst method, though.
Looting
The first – and worst – way to get it to loot it. This means finding it in a box or bag or crate. The problem is that keys in general are quite rare, so the chances of finding the Veterinarian one specifically are very low. If you just happen to find it in Vondel, you’re in luck. Maybe buy a lottery ticket too.
Missions
Alternatively, there are a couple of missions that give the key as a reward.
Players can complete the Cross Town mission in the new Phalanx Faction. It’s a Tier 1 mission and simply requires players to do the following:
- Visit the Cruise Terminal in Vondel.
- Visit the Castle in the same deployment.
That’s literally all there is to it. Once you’ve done that (just hop in a vehicle and drive round Vondel, essentially), you’ll be rewarded with the Veterinarian Key.
Another mission that rewards players with the Veterinarian Key is the Anti-Air Mission, a Tier 2 Black Mous Faction mission. This requires players to:
- Capture 2 SAM Sites in one deployment.
- Open a supply drop.
Again, completing these basic objectives will reward players with the Veterinarian Key.
Buoyant House
The key is also guaranteed in the Buoyant House, in map grid C7. This is in Vondel’s far southwest and is among a busy area, populated with plenty of AI. It’s probably best to get as close as possible with a vehicle and unlock and enter rapidly.
This does require the Buoyant House Key, which can be acquired via the Stage Bag Key. It was previously part of a mini chain of its own, but this has changed with S4R.
Inside the house, head upstairs and you’ll find the key on a counter. The house itself offers a lot of good loot. There was a ton of cash for us to pocket, as well as a three-plate vest and a Revive Pistol. After that, head for an exfil location or get onto your next objective (note that, if you die, you’ll lose it and be forced to find it all over again).
Vondel Zoo Veterinary Office Location & Access
When you’re back in another game, head for the Zoo POI in Vondel’s southwest. The Veterinary Office is at the southwest of the Zoo itself, south of the Dead Drop. It’s in map grid D7 and it’s in the building on the right hand side of the image below.
Head into the Animal Care Center (the building shown) and locate the Veterinary Office within it. It’ll be an inaccessible zone unless you have the Veterinary Key in your inventory.
If you are completing a certain mission, do your best not to die between unlocking the office and completing your objectives. If you die you’ll need to acquire another key – like a Skeleton Key – to re-access the office.
